Coming out of the ceremony I felt awakened again. I felt freedom and that’s something I haven’t felt in so long. I’ve started to dream again and think of my future and what I must do to create the reality I desire. The one I deserve. I started to feel love for myself again and especially those around me such as my family who I am so blessed to have. I’m hungry and motivated. There’s so much work to be done but this ceremony/medicine acted as a catalyst to awaken the warrior within. I want to break free of my own cycles and patterns and bring in love. I want to love my demons. I want to love hard. The medicine showed me all this is possible.

Lana, Ivan and the medicine took me on a journey to meet and see my female ancestors from a new perspective. I was confronted with my own judgements and then able to develop a new and deep understanding for every women in my family by feeling what they have felt and been through and understanding that they all have always wanted the best for me. I was able to look at myself through their eyes and feel their love through their hearts. It made me realize that I, too, have to accept them for who they are.

It feels like I was able to help generations of women heal through my own healing in this ceremony.
